Bea Arthur as Maude Findlay an outspoken, middle-aged, politically liberal woman living in suburban Tuckahoe, NY. Cavalieri celebrates the character with patterns and colors from the 1970s. Bea Arthur went on to star in the Golden Girls, but Joseph likes best the power of her earlier character.
