Cavalieri worked with Robert Crumb to produce this series of stained glass panels. Mr. Crumb (the animation cult hero of the 1970’s) has agreed to let Joseph use his iconic images. The first of these pieces, “D&G” was produced during Cavalieri’s three month residency at the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan. The text is from the original illustration, and the portrait is of Mr. Crumb's wife.

“D&G” replicates R. Crumb’s illustration of the same name. Enamel paint baked onto glass instead of pen and ink drawn on paper. This series was seen at the UrbanGlass booth at SOFA Chicago 2010.
