 This work was successfully auctioned at the Oct. 21, 2014 UrbanGlass  Gala , In New York.  Cavalieri immortalizes the haughty Moorhead in stained glass in this work title “Agnes Moorhead IS a Friggin Goddess”. The work uses one image, one pattern and two colors, resulting in a fresh stained glass work with oomph!   Agnes Moorhead in the role of Endora, Samantha’s (Elizabeth Montgomery) mortal-loathing, quick-witted witch mother, in the situation comedy Bewitched (1964-1972).   Kiln fired, silk-screened enamel on stained glass  Height: 14 inches (35.5 cm) Date: 2014  ABOUT JOSEPH: Cavalieri has been exhibiting painted, air brushed and silk-screened stained glass since 1997. His subjects range from portraits of the Simpsons being killed off, to portraits of Jackie O, Queen Elizabeth II, Bill Pearl (Mr. Universe), The Lady Bunny and Isaac Hayes. Cavalieri is a New Yorker, currently based in the East Village of Manhattan. His unique glass art techniques combine modern elements with time-honored processes used by Medieval stained glass artists.  Cavalieri's “Madonna & Prada” was acquired for the permanent collection at  the Museum of Arts and Design in 2013. He was selected to exhibit in the "NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial" at  the Museum of Arts and Design in 2014. Joseph’s MTA Arts for Transit public art commission can be viewed at the Philipse Manor Train Station in Westchester, New York.    Joseph has had one-man shows at   The Church of St. Paul the Apostle (NYC),   The Society of Arts and Crafts (Boston), Theater for the New City Gallery (NYC), twice at Dixon Place (NYC),   and twice at the Duncan McClellan Gallery (Florida)  . He also was part of a two-person exhibit at TS Art Projects (Berlin).
